GOAL AND VISION: Our goal is to reduce and eliminate the impact of substance use and mental health disorders, and complex medical and psychosocial conditions on individuals, their families, and our communities. The purpose of our programs and services is to prevent overdose and overdose deaths, out-of-home placements such as emergency room visits, psychiatric hospitalizations, intensive SUD residential treatment, and incarceration, while improving the psychosocial skills and overall functioning of individuals to enhance their overall quality of life.
Our Focus: Our focus is to reduce overdose and overdose deaths in the greater Richmond area. At River City, we utilize a Recovery Oriented Systems of Care approach to provide a high level of assessment, treatment, and care coordination for all individuals.
