Candice is a dedicated doula with extensive experience supporting families through a variety of birthing experiences. As the Clinical Integration Manager at Urban Baby Beginnings, she brings her deep commitment to maternal health into every aspect of her work. With a focus on eliminating racial disparities in maternal care, she advocates for systems that center the needs, voices, and experiences of Black birthing people. In her dual role, she works at the intersection of direct support and healthcare systems change—ensuring that families receive compassionate, culturally affirming care while also building bridges between communities and clinical spaces. Through education, advocacy, and care coordination, Candice is helping to reimagine what equitable maternal health looks like. For her, birth is sacred—and every mother deserves to thrive.
