About me
I am a non-binary adult learner and a certified peer recovery specialist at Rams in Recovery, where I am dedicated to supporting individuals in their recovery journeys through mentorship, advocacy, and awareness. My passion lies in building connections and fostering a sense of community for those seeking hope and resilience. I believe that sharing lived experiences and providing peer support can transform lives, helping individuals discover their potential and overcome challenges.
I am pleased to announce that I became a certified peer recovery specialist and earned my associate's degree in December 2023. These successes reinforced my dedication to influencing others and represent a significant turning point in my professional and personal development. In my role at Rams in Recovery, Rams 2 Rams Pantry, and Mellons Pathways, I focus on creating safe, supportive spaces for open dialogue and shared understanding. Whether mentoring peers or advocating for recovery resources, I strive to inspire hope, resilience, and a belief in the possibilities of transformation.
Beyond my professional work, I am deeply committed to continuous learning and collaboration. I seek to connect with others who share a passion for recovery and mentorship, believing that together we can break down stigma and cultivate a culture of healing. As I often remind myself and others, "Every step forward in recovery is a step toward a brighter, more empowered future.
